Name and Function of Parts

Refer to the operating instructions for the HDCU5500/3500 for locations not described below.

Front Panel

SIGNAL BAR indicator

Flashes blue when internal storage is accessed (during 

recording, playback, or file transfer).

When flashing blue, do not turn off the CCU.

ALARM indicator

Off (not lit):

 Operating normally.

Lit red:

 An error occurred on the CCU or HKCU-REC55.

USB ACCESS indicator

Lit green:

 USB drive is connected and mounted.

Flashing green:

 USB drive is being formatted.

Off (not lit):

 USB drive is not mounted. When using a USB 

drive, mount the drive from PWA-RCT1.

Before removing the USB drive, check that the USB ACCESS 

indicator is not lit.

EXT (USB external storage) connector

Connect to a USB drive.

It supports USB 3.1 Gen1.
