GPIO Select
– This drop down list selects the GPIO port to view and change
sengs.
Type
– This opon selects whether the selected GPIO port is an input, an
output or whether it is disabled. Ports configured as inputs are acve low
and they have a weak internal pullup. Ports configured as outputs are open
collector driven and are therefore acve low.
Input Function
– This opon selects the required funcon that the selected
GPIO input controls. GPIO inputs can be set to control a local funcon and a
virtual GPIO output if required. If no local funcon control is needed, but
control of a virtual GPIO output is required, select Virtual GPO Only. The
assignment for which GPIO input triggers a virtual GPIO output is made on
the virtual GPIO sengs page. This opon is only available when the type is
set to input.
Input Action
– This opon selects the operaonal mode of the selected
GPIO input. In momentary mode, the selected funcon is acve whilst the
input is asserted low. In latching mode, a separate acve low pulse is
required to enable and disable the selected funcon. This opon is only
available when the type is set to input.
Output Trigger
– This opon selects the funcon that triggers the GPIO
output. GPIO outputs can be triggered by a local funcon, a virtual GPIO
input and an Ember+ consumer if required. If a local funcon trigger is not
needed, but a virtual GPIO input or Ember+ consumer trigger is required,
select Virtual GPI Only or Ember+ Consumer Only. The assignment for which
virtual GPIO input triggers a GPIO output is made on the virtual GPIO
sengs page. This opon is only available when the type is set to output.
GPIO Button Mode
– Selects the operaonal mode of the GPIO buon. In
momentary mode, the GPIO outputs controlled by the buon are acve
whilst the buon is pressed. In latching mode, a separate buon press is
required to enable and disable the GPIO outputs. In auto mode, the buon
has a momentary acon that will automacally latch on or off if pressed
briefly.
Relay Trigger
– The output relay, which provides both normally open and
normally closed contacts on the GPIO connector on the rear panel, can be
triggered by mulple funcons, inputs and states. When any of the selected
triggers become acve, the relay is switched on. To select mulple triggers,
click on the required opons whilst holding down the Ctrl key on the
keyboard. The CLEAR ALL buon provides an easy way to remove all current
relay trigger assignments.
