NOTE: If you are using the Searcher Hook with the Jib, make sure to store and se-
cure the wire rope to the Wire Rope Drum.
1.
Pull the Searcher Hook Swivel Pin to release the Searcher Hook Swivel.
2.
Attach the Searcher Hook to the Searcher Hook Shackle and attach the Shackle
to the Searcher Hook Swivel.

1.
Push the dead
-
end of the wire rope through the top of the becket of the

Part Hook, following the arrow embossed on the becket.
2.
Loop the dead
-
end and push it back up through the bottom of the beck-
et.
3.
Insert the Wire Rope Socket Wedge before closing the loop; make sure
that AT LEAST 6.5 inches of the
“
tail
”
is above the becket.
4.
Secure the dead
-
end of the wire rope using the Wire Rope Clip and an
8mm spacer, place the saddle of the clip on the spacer and the U
-
bolt of
the clip on the dead
-
end.
5.
Tighten the nuts of the Wire Rope Clip to secure the dead end.
6.
Attach the Jib A2B Switch Connector to the SPYDERCRANE

(you will need to disconnect the Boom Tip A2B Switch).
