Dismount the Jib System
1. Dismount the stored Jib by removing the two
Jib Pins and then pulling the entire Jib back
(towards the rear of the boom) and up to re-
move the Jib from its storage cradle (1)(2).
2. Remove both Jib Arm Support Pins (4)(5).
3. Lift the Jib Support Arm out of storage cradle
(6).
Ready the Jib Bracket
1. Pull the Arm Bracket Pin from the Jib Hood of
the boom (1).
2. Rotate the Jib Support Arm Bracket from its
stored condition into its deployed condition
and insert and safety
- clip the Arm Bracket Pin
to secure the bracket (2).
Install the Jib
1. Insert the end of the Jib into the Jib Hood of
the boom; line up the hole in the end of the
Jib with the bottom hole in the Jib Hood and
insert and safety
- clip one of the Jib Pins (1).
2. Attach the Jib Support Arm to the Jib Support
Bracket, using one of the Jib Arm Support Pins
(2).
3. Attach the other end of the Jib Support Arm
to the Jib and secure using the other Jib Arm
Support Pin (3).
NOTE: The Jib can be set to one of four tilt angles,
depending on which hole you use to attach the Jib
Support Arm to the Jib (the forward - most hole for
tilt angle 0°, the next three increase the tilt angle
in 20° increments.
