Drain Pan

New Engine Oil Filter

WARNING: You MUST leave the SPYDERCRANE OFF and allow enough time for the all of the onboard fluids to return to ambient temper-

ature before performing ANY maintenance.

1.

Place a drain pan underneath the Drain Plug, remove the plug, and allow the oil to drain out of the engine.

2.

Remove the Engine Oil Filter, confirm that the o

-

ring comes away with the filter.

3.

Apply a thin layer of new engine oil on the o

-

ring of the of the replacement Engine Oil Filter and install the filter.

4.

Replace the Drain Plug.

5.

Open the Filling Port and add new engine oil.

6.

Close the Filling Port, start up the diesel engine of the SPYDERCRANE, and allow the engine to run for a few minutes to circulate the oil
throughout the engine and check for leaks.
