Replacement Fuel Filter Element



Replacement Fuel/Water Separator

Screen (if replacing)

WARNING: You MUST leave the SPYDERCRANE OFF and allow enough time for the engine to cool before performing ANY maintenance.

Open the Engine Compartment.

Close the Fuel Flow Valve above the Fuel Filter Case.

Unfasten the Retaining Ring above the Fuel Filter Case to remove the case.

Remove and dispose of the Fuel Filter.

Wash out the inside of the Fuel Filter Case with diesel fuel.

Insert a new Fuel Filter into the Fuel Filter Case.

Inspect the O

Ring at the top of the Fuel Filter Case for excessive wear, or damage.

Fasten the Fuel Filter Case back to the Fuel Filter Port and hand

tighten the retaining ring.

Open the Fuel Flow Valve above the Fuel Filter Case.

Repeat Steps 1

10 for the Fuel/Water Separator, which is located below the Fuel Filter Case and uses the same case de-

sign.

11.

Pump the Manual Fuel Priming Pump 20 times to pump in fuel and pump out any air trapped in the fuel line.
