Sentry InSite Appliance
A separate module installed inside the door of the controller, called the InSite Appliance (ProtoNode),
provides the following features:

Gateway to Modbus TCP/IP

Various plug-in options to enhance InSite functionality

Gateway to a library of additional FieldServer serial and Ethernet protocols

2.7.1 Connecting to the Sentry InSite Appliance ProtoNode
Connect a CAT-5 Ethernet cable (straight through or cross-over) between the local PC and ProtoNode.
There are two methods to access the ProtoNode, either by changing the subnet of the connected
PC (Section
) or using the FieldServer Toolbox to change the IP Address of the ProtoNode
).
NOTE: Only perform one method or the other.
