> When launching in a strong wind, part of the glider may hit the ground hard. This can lead to
tears in the ribs or damage to the seams. For this reason, inspect your glider on a regular basis
for this type of damage.
> After landing, don’t let the glider fall to the ground on its nose as this can damage the mate-
rial in the leading edge.
2-year InspectIon
skywalk stipulates a maintenance interval of 24 months or 200 flying hours, whatever occurs
first. The manufacturer or an authorized agent should perform the 2-year inspection. For pro-
fessional use the maintenance intervall is 12 months or 100 flying hours, whatever occurs first.
The successful inspection must be verified with the stamp of an authorized skywalk service cen-
ter or from skywalk itself. If you do not maintain this inspection interval or if you have the inspec-
tion performed by an unauthorized service center, this will invalidate the homologation and void all
guarantee demands. Depending on local laws in your country, this may also invalidate your insu-
rance. skywalk also recommends a visual check of the carabiners and the T-bar during the 2-year
inspection.
cHanGes to tHe paraGlIder
The skywalk JOIN’T3 is shipped with all parameters meeting authorized tolerances. This tolerance
range is very narrow and may not be changed in any case. This also counts for brake line length as
this is the only way to guarantee the optimal balance between performance, handling and safety.
