Removing
– Remove the airbag unit in the steering wheel ⇒ Body Work;

Rep. gr. 69 .

– Disconnect plug connection -2-.
– Screw out screw -1- (1.5 Nm), swivel out the switch unit for the

gearbox operation -3- -arrow- and carefully remove.

Installing
The installation occurs in reverse order.

Self-diagnosis of the multi-functional

steering wheel

The multi-functional steering wheel is capable of conducting a

self-diagnosis. Carry out “self-diagnosis” with the ⇒ Vehicle diag‐

nostic tester in the function “Targeted fault finding”.
