3. „User“ -> User Program
In this mode you can exercise according to your own programmed profiles.
After selecting „user“ (confirm with „ENTER“) you can preset each segment load in the profile with the
“up” and “down” buttons (“ENTER” for confirmation). After you have finished your input, please press
“Start/Stop”.
Appr. each 0,1 km the computer switches to the next segment and controls the load according to your
input. Again it is possible to put in target values (no watts). Use the „UP/DOWN“(AUF/AB)-buttons as
described above. It is also possible not to input any target value (pressing Start/Stop at once). Did you
insert values the computer will remind you if you reach a value (6-times beeping) to remind you to stop
exercising.
4. „Target H.R.“ (or “THR”)
You can do an automatically steered training depending on your pulse frequency. After selecting this
mode and pressing ENTER you are in heart frequency controlled modus. Please amend the displayed
value of 25 according to your actual age. It starts the selection of one of 3 percentages of the maxi-
mum pulse (the computer calculates it by your age you inserted before) or you chose to put in directly
a target pulse (from 30 to max. 240 bpm).
Use the „UP/DOWN“-buttons to select between 55%, 75%, 90% and direct input of the target pulse.
Press Start/Stop to start the training.
i. You have chosen a percentage. The computer calculates the target pulse. If your measured pulse is
below this value the computer will increase the difficulty every 30 seconds in one step (up to max.
32). If you exceed this value it reduces every 15 seconds the difficulty up to this point where the pulse
will be balanced.
ii. You input a target pulse value. Use the „UP/DOWN“(AUF/AB)-buttons to input the desired
value. Press ENTER and Start/Stop to start. The control of the velocity will happen as described in
point a) above.
Do you exceed even on the difficulty level 1 (very easy) the target pulse more than 30 seconds the
computer will stop the training automatically. It will make a sound of beeping 6-times to remind you
doing this. To break up during the training it is also possible to press the Start/Stop-button in this mode
(Stop-mode).
