Mains connection
The computer gets its power supply by the included adaptor. The adaptor will be connected to a nor-
mal mains plug (European standard, please check the specifications resp. please use a fitting mains
adaptor for your power system) and to the little plug in the cover of the item near by the rear stabilizers,
as it can be seen on page 41.
If you have to buy a new adaptor it is important to pay attention that it is GS approved and corresponds
to the product safety law and the below mentioned specifications.
Don’t use another electricity supply because this could cause damages or impairments of functions
It is very important to read these instructions completely to have an optimum training with your new
ergociser and to avoid mistakes and misunderstandings.
Adaptor specifications:

Exercise computer
It is necessary that you read and follow all the instructions in this manual in order to avoid misunder-
standings and/or errors.
This computer has an automatic on/off function so that it switches on when the pedals move or when
any button is pressed, and turns into stand-by mode automatically if no signal has been received for
approx. 4 minutes. In standby-mode, the room temperature and time of the day is displayed. These
displays CANNOT be switched off, unless you take out the batteries. If the batteries are inserted the
first time (or exchanged later on), it is necessary to set time correctly by using the “UP”/”DOWN” and
“ENTER” function knob. If you want to set time manually later on, it is necessary to take out and re-
insert the batteries to get into the time setting mode.
Hint:
The computer is equipped with a built-in receiver, which can (alternatively to the handpulse mea-
surement) receive your pulse frequency through the included breast strap (uncoded signals). Please
check the respective instructions for how to use it.
