Fault 31: System leak
FAULT 31: System leak
Triggered by :
During the "Vacuum test" program the evacuation pressure exceeded the maximum permitted value P13 (very
large leak ):
Causes / Remedy
Operating fault / Checks by personnel :
•
Examine the door seal and seal contact surfaces at the chamber and the door for signs of damage or soiling,
and if necessary clean.
Appliance fault / Repair by technical service personnel

Leaks at the solenoid valves
►
Solenoid valve for ventilation does not close/leaks
•
Coil, rectifier plug, control unit ACOUT 8 faulty
•
Solenoid valve soiled (plunger/ contact surface)
Test at reduced pressure (Program "Vacuum test“):
Remove sterile filter, cover opening with flat of hand,
observe pressure display

Solenoid valve for pressure release leaking
•
Solenoid valve soiled (plunger/ contact surface)
Test at reduced pressure (Program "Vacuum test“):
Observe water column in pipe between pressure release solenoid
valve and sterile filter, if there are leaks the water will be drawn
towards the solenoid valve
Disconnect pipe from T-junction for cooling water and close with finger,
Observe pressure display

Vacuum solenoid valve leaking (Program "Vacuum test“):
•
Solenoid valve soiled (plunger/ contact surface)
Test at reduced pressure (Program "Vacuum test“):
Observe pipe between chamber and vacuum solenoid valve,
if there are leaks water will be drawn towards chamber
►
Solenoid valve for feed pump leaking
•
Solenoid valve soiled (plunger/ contact surface)
Test at reduced pressure (Program "Vacuum test“):
Observe feed water intake pipe between conductivity
measurement cell and intake connection of pump and on the
outlet side of pump, if there are leaks the water will be drawn in
the direction of the autoclave chamber
