Adjusting media advance compensation
Two media advance adjustment patterns are available:
[ROUGH]
pattern and
[DETAIL]
pattern with greater
accuracy.
Obtain your initial media advance compensation with
[ROUGH]
media advance adjustment pattern, and then
determine the final media advance compensation with
[DETAIL]
media advance adjustment pattern. Each of
[ROUGH]
and
[DETAIL]
prints approx. 90 cm media advance adjustment pattern.

Set media longer than 4 m.
Load the media on the same condition as for the
actual printing

Set the Printer to offline state and press the
key.

Select the print mode to be used normally for the
media to set the media advance compensation.

If the print mode, [DENSITY2] is selected...
- To obtain the media advance compensation in DENSITY2 mode, apply the media advance adjustment
patterns, ROUGH(QUALITY) or DETAIL(QUALITY).
The factors that change the media advance
compensations are as follows.
- Change the print mode
- Change the pressure with the pressure control know.
- Print with/without the take-up reel unit
- Change the media type
- Change the media advance path
