5.2.2 Wiring test for inputs

Check the wiring by carefully changing the wiring of field devices (e.g. sensors or
switches) connected to the inputs, or by simulating sensor values or contact states.

Reference data points are refreshed.

1. Select

Applications > Popcard…

and check for "Wiring test active = Yes".

2. Select

Inputs

to open data points N.X1…N.X8 and N.D1…N.D8.

3. Change (or simulate) sensor values or contact states.

4. Check how the values have changed.

Universal inputs N.X1…N.X8 with "Input identifier = Pulse" cannot be checked during
the wiring test. However, they are displayed in

[Popcard]

under

Meter > Meter 8

(see below

with Meter 8 as an example).
