Slice Toolbar Selections
The system displays the slice toolbar on the left of the slice quadrant when
you position the trackball cursor on the slice quadrant.
Slice Toolbar Selection Description Icon
Contrast/ Brightness Adjusts the contrast and/or brightness of the slices. Roll the
trackball left or right to adjust contrast. Roll the trackball up or
down to adjust brightness.
Auto-Brightness Automatically assigns optimal values for the contrast and
brightness to the slices.
Vertical Rotation Rotates the slices around the vertical axis. Roll the trackball left
or right.
Horizontal Rotation Rotates the slices around the horizontal axis. Roll the trackball up
or down.
Shift / Step Through Shifts the slices or steps through the volume (traverses the slice
through the volume along the orthogonal axis) according to the
direction of trackball movement. Roll the trackball left or right to
shift the slices. Roll the trackball up or down to step through
the volume.
Zoom on Slices Magnifies the slices. Roll the trackball up to increase
magnification. Roll the trackball down to decrease magnification.
Bubble Clip Enables/disables the bubble clip function for removing data from
the volume.
When the bubble clip function is enabled using a toolbar, the
following selections are also available for resizing the ellipsoid
shape:

Bubble Clip Resize X, Y Axes

Bubble Clip Resize Z Axis
Add to VOI Displays a pencil icon (with a plus sign) for drawing a freeform
shape around data on a slice to create a new volume of interest
(VOI) or to add to the existing VOI.
Note: When this function is active, the LCD selections, tab
selections, and toolbars are unavailable.
Undo Cancels the last operation performed.
