Signal Quality Threshold
Can only be configured if "Next Channel" is set for "Scanning Mode".
The access point specifies a signal quality for the client. When scanning the client must
receive the signal coming from the access point with at least the specified signal quality.
Only then is a connection established.
The signal quality is determined by the client based on the RSSI values (Received Signal
Strength Indicator) of received packets. The RSSI value indicates how strong the arriving
signal is and is displayed in the signal recorder.
The following threshold values apply to the signal strength:

Procedure
In access point mode
1.
Select the "Enable iPCF" option for the required WLAN interface.
2.
Enable the option "Legacy Free (iPCF-LF)" if desired.
3.
Select the required cycle time for the access point from the "iPCF Cycle Time [ms]" drop-
down list.
4.
Select for example "All Channels" from the "Scanning Mode" drop-down list.
5.
Click the "Set Values" button. You configure the security settings in "Security > WLAN >
Basic".
In client mode
1.
Select the "Enable iPCF" option for the required WLAN interface.
2.
If needed, enable the option "Legacy Free (iPCF-LF)".
3.
Click the "Set Values" button.

settings in "Security > WLAN > Basic".
