Obstruction detection
6.2.22.1
Obstruction detection CLOSE
Description of function
If the door is obstructed in the CLOSE direction with a DOOR CLOSE command present, the
door stops and reverses direction. After reaching the OPEN position, the door closes again
at normal speed to within about 2 cm of the obstruction. It then travels at reduced speed
(initial speed) against the obstruction before reversing again. This function is repeated
continuously, as long as the obstruction remains. Once the obstruction has been cleared, the
door travels at reduced speed to approximately 2 cm past the stored position of the
obstruction, and then continues the rest of the way at normal closing speed.
SIDOOR ATD400S / ATE250S
If the door is obstructed in the CLOSE direction with a DOOR CLOSE command present, the
door presses against the obstruction with the set closing force. If the obstruction remains
present for more than one second, then the ATD400S controller reduces the motor current to
the rated current of the motor, and the force is reduced correspondingly. The ensuing force
is never greater than 150 N. This function is repeated continuously as long as the obstruction
remains present. Once the obstruction has been cleared, the door travels at reduced speed
to approximately 2 cm past the stored position of the obstruction, and then continues the rest
of the way at normal closing speed.
SIDOOR ATD400T
If the door is obstructed in the CLOSE direction with a DOOR CLOSE command present, the
door stops and reverses direction. After reaching the OPEN position, the door closes again
at normal speed to within about 2 cm of the obstruction. It then travels at reduced speed
(initial speed) against the obstruction before reversing again.
This function is repeated as many times as specified in the parameter "Number of
obstruction CLOSE retries before wait mode". During this time the obstruction is detected at
the same position ± 3 cm.
The door then remains stationary in this position. An OPEN signal cannot be accepted as an
external door command. A "completed" signal is then output on the keyboard lighting.
After the time specified by the parameter "Time delay in wait mode CLOSE" another attempt
is made to move in the CLOSE direction. This function is repeated continuously, as long as
the obstruction remains.
Once the obstruction has been cleared, the door travels at reduced speed to approximately
2 cm past the stored position of the obstruction, and then continues the rest of the way at
normal closing speed.
