Motion detector
Description of function
If a signal is active at the input of the connected motion detector, the door opens according
to the set driving curve as long as the command is active. If the door is opened less than
1 cm, the motion detector signal is ignored. The door reaches the OPEN position at creep
speed. After expiry of the hold-open time, the door can be closed by an explicit close
command. If the parameter "Hold-open time after motion detector" is set to 0 s, the door can
be closed immediately by an explicit close command. If the door is opened less than 1 cm,
the motion detector signal is ignored.
Connection and parameter assignment
The motion detector signal is connected via "Input 1" (X6). See also Section Digital input
signals (Page 131).
The following wait time in the OPEN position can be parameterized separately from the
normal open time. The parameter assignment is set via the parameter "Hold-open time after
motion detector".
Signals
Signal
Description
1 (voltage applied)
Signal present at motion detector
0 (voltage not applied)
No signal present at motion detector
6.2.4
DCPS (Door Closed Position Sensor)
Description of function
DCPS stands for Door Closed Position Sensor or DOOR CLOSED sensor. The Door Closed
Position Sensor is not a special sensor, but an open or closed contact as far as the controller
is concerned. If the contact is closed, the door is in the CLOSED position. The user is
responsible for the design of the contact.
The DCPS enables the door to travel in normal operation immediately after the line voltage is
switched on without an initialization run. This requires the door to be in the CLOSED position
when the power is switched on. This enables the controller to be completely switched off if
the elevator is not going to be used for a lengthy period, for example during the night.
If the contact remains closed although the door has left its CLOSED position, the controller
switches to initial operation after 10 cm, and continues the movement at initial speed. The
door does not resume moving at normal speed until after it has traveled to both end
positions.
