5.1 Connection of gas lines

5.1

Connection of gas lines

Procedure

Remove the dummy plugs from the gas inlets and outlets "1" to "7" of the chromatograph.

Connect the exhaust and gas lines according to the piping diagram.

5.2

Activating the gas supply

Requirement

All gas lines are connected and leakproof.

Procedure

Turn the carrier gas up to a pressure of 600 to 700 kPa.

Turn the sample gas up to an absolute pressure of ≤ 160 kPa.

If applicable, turn the calibration gas up to an absolute pressure of ≤ 160 kPa.
