Push the button on the handle (

) partially to lower the head (

).
When the head comes into contact with the tyre, pull the arm towards the wheel
to position the head correctly against the outer edge.
Press the button on the handle fully to simultaneously clamp the hexagonal
arm (
10, Fig. D
) and the horizontal arm (
11, Fig. D
).
The head (
16, Fig. D
) automatically raises and moves 2 mm away from the
edge of the wheel.
3)
Start turntable rotation and simultaneously lubricate the shoulder and bead
of the tyre generously.
4)
Move the valve to approximately the 9 o’clock position.
5)
With the wheel stationary, manually depress the tyre near the hook (
see
Fig. G
).
6)
Lower the control lever (
15, Fig. D
) to insert the hook under the tyre bead.
CAUTION:
The hook may not insert correctly under the bead. If this happens,
rotate the turntable until the hook is inserted correctly.
7)
Move the valve to the 12 o’clock position. Check that the bead is in the
wheel rim well in the 6 o’clock position; if not, depress the bead itself manually.
8)
With the wheel stationary, lift the control lever (
15, Fig. D
); the bead of
the tyre now sits on the head ready for demounting.
9)
Rotate the turntable clockwise to completely demount the upper bead.
N.B.:
If the bead remains in the wheel rim well, use the plastic spatula to
facilitate the procedure (
see Fig. G2
).
CAUTION: Always use the plastic spatula when working
with steel wheel rims to prevent damage to the tyre bead.

If the tyre contains an inner tube, press the control pedal of the vertical
column to move it out of the work area, remove the inner tube then return the
column to its working position.
11)
Move the valve to the 12 o’clock position. Check that the bead is in the
wheel rim well in the 6 o’clock position.

Manually place the upper bead over the demounting head (
see Fig. G3
).
13)
Lower the control lever (
15, Fig. D
) to engage the lower tyre bead (
see
Fig. G4
).
14)
Lift the control lever (
17, Fig. D
) to bring the lower bead over the edge
of the wheel.
15)
Rotate the turntable clockwise to completely demount the lower bead.
N.B.:
If the bead remains in the wheel rim well, use the plastic spatula to facilitate the procedure (
see Fig. G5
).
CAUTION: Always use the plastic spatula when working with steel wheel rims to prevent damage to the tyre
bead.
