5. TRANSPORT
The machine is delivered in a carton box with pallet.
Shipping weight is:
- S 45 TL:
305 kg
.
- S 45 TL GP:
323 kg
.
The machine must be handled with a fork-lift truck with the forks positioned as shown in
the
figure B
.

6. INSTALLATION
6.1 INSTALLATION PLACE
Position the tyre changer, still in its packing, in the chosen installation site.
Remember that:
1-
The machine’s workplace requirements are
1340
mm wide x
1640
mm (depth) with at least
500
mm of clear space from any wall.
2-
The floor must be solid, level and able to bear the weight of the machine without yielding.
3-
The installation site must be equipped with an electrical system with an efficient grounding circuit and automatic differential circuit-
breaker with 30 mA setting.
4-
The installation site must be equipped with a connection to a compressed air network with an operating pressure of at least 8 bar.
WARNING!
Unauthorized variations or modifications to the machine shall relieve the manufacturer from all liability for any
deriving damages or accidents.
In particular, removal or tampering with the safety devices represents a violation of the Labour Safety
regulations.
S 45 tyre changer is equipped with a
pneumatic built-in safety valve
.
This valve prevents pressure coming from inflating gauges, or other inflating devices con-
nected to the tyre changer, to exceed
3.5 bar
.
S 45 GP
version is moreover equipped with a
pressure relief valve
(
1, Fig. A
), located on
the outside tank, set at 11 bar. This valve is activated every time the pressure inside the
tank tends to exceed
11 bar
.
WARNING: Removing or tampering with the safety devices is in
violation of European safety regulations and relieves the
manufacturer from all liability for damage caused by or related to
such actions.
