5.19 Optional Plasma Torch and Orifice Assembly 

If axial view observations are performed using the optional plasma torch (P/N 204-70272) or high TDS 

torch (P/N 204-77296), the optional orifice assembly (P/N 211-43740) is required. Replace the orifice 
assembly L attached to the cooling jacket with the orifice assembly (P/N 211-43740).   

Cleaning of the orifice assembly (P/N 211-43740) is the same as for cleaning of the axial-view 

observation orifice assembly L in section 8.8.

NOTE 

The orifice assembly L will deteriorate rapidly if the plasma is ignited using the 
plasma torch (P/N 204-70272) or high TDS torch (P/N 204-77296) with the orifice
