Extending Image onto External Monitor 

 

 

•

 

While the image is being extended, you cannot use the 

Fn+F5

 (     ) 

keys. 

•

 

Only the LCD display can be the primary monitor. 

 
To extend the image on the LCD onto the external monitor: 
1.

 

In the 

Settings

 tab of the 

Display Properties

 dialog box, select the “2” display 

icon, and then, check the box of 

Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor

. 

2.

 

Click 

OK

, then, follow the instructions shown on the screen. 

 

 To stop extending the image, clear the box of 

Extend my Windows desktop onto this 

monitor

 in the step 1. 

 

Disconnecting External Monitor 

1.

 

Turn off the computer and the external monitor. 

2.

 

Remove the display cable from the computer. 

3.
