CHANGING THE PRINT SETTINGS FOR THE TRANSACTION
REPORT (TRANSACTION REPORT)

A transaction report is automatically printed out to alert you when an Internet fax transmission fails or when a
broadcast transmission is performed. The transaction report contains a description of the transmission (date, start
time, name of other party, time required, number of pages, result, etc.).

Transaction reports are printed based on conditions set in the system settings; however, you can temporarily select
different conditions for a transmission. To change the transaction report print conditions at the time of transmission,
follow the steps below.

Switch to Internet fax mode, touch the
[SPECIAL MODES] key, and then touch the

 key.

If the address book
screen appears, touch
the [CONDITION
SETTINGS] key to display
the condition settings
screen (

page 1-13

).

Touch the [TRANSACTION REPORT] key.

A screen for setting the
transaction report print
condition will appear.

Set the condition for printing transaction
reports.

To have part of the transmitted image printed with
each transaction report, select the [PRINT
ORIGINAL IMAGE] checkbox. This setting can
only be selected when [ALWAYS PRINT] or
[PRINT AT ERROR] is selected.

Perform the send procedure as explained
in "SENDING A FAX IN INTERNET FAX
MODE" (

pages 2-6 to 2-9

).

NOTES

●

This function cannot be used in scan mode or when metadata send settings are selected.

●

A "TRANSACTION REPORT" setting cannot be stored in a program.

●

The condition for printing a transaction report can be set using "Transaction report print select setting" (

page 8-6

)

in the administrator settings.

●

To have part of the transmitted image printed on each transaction report, enable "Original print on transaction
report " (

page 8-6

) in the administrator settings.
