12. Replace the rubber protective caps for the terminals back on the terminals.
Protection against contact is now re-
stored.
13. Fit the two DC cover guards on the spacers of the two connection rails and fix them with two washers and screws
on each.
Figure 19 Attach the guard
14. Switch the battery modules on by setting the power supply switch on all modules to the “ON” position.
7.7 Connection of the AC line
The standard delivery condition is single phase. Therefor the terminals L1, L2 and L3 are connected by a
jumper. The terminals L2 and L3 have to be left at its original state. If the system has to be connected three-
phase please follow the instruction of the document for three-phase connection at
www.senec-ies.com/en
.
The AC connection is made at the terminal block in the SENEC.Home Li case. Cables between 2.5 mm
2
and
a maximum of 6 mm
2
(flexible with wire end ferrule) can be connected to the terminal block on the top-hat rail.
1. Switch off the miniature circuit breaker in the house wiring to which the SENEC.Home Li will be connected.
2. Cut the 3-core cable to the desired length.
3. Strip the outer insulation and prepare the cable for the AC connection. Place the wire end ferrules on the individual
cores.
4. Connect the prepared AC connecting cable coming from the B 16 A miniature circuit breaker in the house wiring to
the appropriate terminals in the SENEC.Home Li. To do this, place the wires in the B16A protected feed terminals,
as illustrated in figure 19 (from left to right L1, L2, L3, N, PE).
The push-in terminals on the terminal block secure the
cores against slipping out.
