8 Cascading multiple systems
8.1 Preconditions
Up to seven SENEC batteries can run in cascaded operation. The precondition for this is that the battery(ies)
is/are at least a system from the SENEC.Home G2.3 series or higher. SENEC.Business batteries can also be
cascaded.
8.2 Operating principle
One main system and one (or more) subsidiary systems must be defined for cascading. The main system
(master) is configured as if it were the only system. Only the master system is connected to the PV inverter or
power flow direction sensors. The subsidiary systems receive their charge and discharge instructions exclu-
sively from the main system and are configured separately.
