In the following table see the description of advanced features provided with the SIP phone.
Feature
Description
Monitoring the state
of users (BLF
buttons)
The
BLF
(Busy Lamp Field) function keys monitor the state of users.
You can have three types of BLF keys:
BLF
monitor
idle / busy state
with light signalling;
BLF_ADVANCED
monitor
idle / busy / in ringing state
with light signalling;
BLF_RING
monitor
idle / busy / in ringing state
with light and acustic signalling.
Light signallings meaning:
•
Led off
= user is available and in idle
•
Red led steady on
= user is not available
•
Red led blinking slowly
= user is busy
•
Amber led steady on
= forwarding calls activate
•
Amber led blinking quickly
= user is receiving a call (valid
only for BLF_RING and BLF_ADVANCE)
Make a phone call from BLFkey
Press
BLF
(all types) function key and the automatic sequence will be
executed, if the sequence ends with “E” character the user has to
complete it by using the numbering keypad.
BLF call interception
When the monitored user is in ringing state, you can pickup the incoming
call, directed towards someone else’s phone, by pressing the
BLF
(valid
only for BLF_RING and BLF_ADVANCE) function key whose led blinks
quickly amber.
Answer a call
pressing QUEUE_X
button
QUEUE_X (X = 0...4) function keys program a key where incoming calls
are signalled. You can have up to 5 PARK function keys.
Press the QUEUE_X function key.
- QUEUE_X function key can receive all incoming calls or calls only
directed toward a programmed account, according to the customization.
- QUEUE_X function key that receives calls only directed toward a
programmed account can be deactivated by pressing the QUEUE_X
function key, led turns on steady red and the account number cannot be
reached anymore.
