The
headset mode
means that the headset icon is displayed on the screen.
9.2. Instruction for using the headset
Possibility to switch between a “Bluetooth Plantronics®” headset and the handset of NETfon.
See the operational instruction to manage a call in the following table.
Installation of the Headset "Plantronics Bluetooth ®" (with its adapter EHS, detected plug & play) and
its configuration are the responsibility of the system administrator, (we remember that: to use the
Bluetooth headset, the “
Headset mode
” configuration of NETfon must be
disabled
).
9.3. Listening to your voice messages
The led’s Voice Mail button ON, indicates a new voice message in your voice mail, to listen to it press
the Voice Mail
button and follow the voice instructions.
Send a message to a
busy user
If the called is busy, press Voice Mail button to send a warning call
message as “Call me:
number-of-the-caller
”. The message will appear on
the display when the called hangs-up and will be active for about 10
minutes.
Record a phone call
To start manually the recording of a phone call, press CONFERENCE
function key.
The service requires an appropriate configuration by the system
administrator.

• press speakerphone
dial the telephone press
the headset call control button and wait for the answer
or
• press the headset call control button to listent to the dialling tone + dial
the telephone press MENU/ENTER
Note
: For outgoing trunk calls, the telephone number must be preceded
by the generic trunk line access number (i.e. 0).
End a phone call
• press the headset call control button
Answer a phone call
When you hear the incoming call tone (in headset):
• press the headset call control button
Switch between
headset and handset
• Audio from headset, initially: offhook the handset and then press the
headset call control button
• Audio from handset, initially (offhook): press the headset call control
button and then ofhook the handset.
