Connect the 3 ml syringe to the intake and fill with clean water.

Under "Select Test Mode" select "Test BLIS."
The sensor status is "Test BLIS Pump."

Push
Run 100 BLIS Cycles
.
The pump makes a "click" sound each time it operates. The user can see the water
level fall in the syringe. The water will fall approximately 1–1.5 ml per 100 cycles. The
software shows each pump cycle. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for details
about what to do if the water level does not fall.
9.
Fill the syringe again and run 100 BLIS cycles again.
10.
Turn off power to the sensor and disconnect it from the PC and power supply.
11.
Press the metal tab to release, and remove the syringe assembly from the intake.
12.
Assemble the BLIS:
a.
Slide the copper sleeve onto the sensor, and make sure that the slot in the
copper guard aligns correctly with the yellow fitting on the side. Slide the copper
guard straight down. Do not twist.
b.
Install the two 10-24 x ½" screws at the bottom of the sleeve. Install finger-tight
only.
13.
Install the bleach reservoir:
•
For deployment, add up to 150 ml of bleach.
•
For storage, make sure the liner is clean and empty.
14.
Slide the clamp over the BLIS and CT sleeves approximately 8 cm from the top of the
BLIS sleeve.
