The object will be enabled, if you select the “Shutter control” function in the “General” tab
(that can be seen after opening the “Function blocks” tab), “Function block 1” field. The
object enables the shutter to be moved in the Up / Down direction. The shutter movement
started by the object can be stopped by a “STOP” telegram or after the shutter reaches its
end point. Depending on which mode and control scheme are selected in the “1: Shutter”
tab, the object value can be changed by a short / long button press event. The object value
can also be changed by a telegram from the KNX bus. This enables the object value to be
updated each time when the shutter movement is triggered by another communication
object from the same address group (another button). If you do not want the object value to
be changed by telegrams from the bus, disable the “W – Write” option in the object
properties.

The object will be enabled, if you select the “Shutter control” function in the “General” tab
(that can be seen after opening the “Function blocks” tab), “Function block 1” field. If the
object is defined as a 4-bit one (the “4-bit” type scheme is selected in the “Control scheme”
field), it will send telegrams of “STEP UP”, “STEP DOWN” and “STOP” type to the bus (see
Appendix “4-bit telegrams for shutter control”). In such a case, the step value can be
defined in the “Open: step value” and “Close: step value” fields.
Telegrams for 1-bit object:
0 = step Up,
1 = step Down,
0 and 1 = stop, when the shutter or slats are moving.
Depending on which mode and control scheme are selected in the “1: Shutter” tab, the
object value can be changed by short / long button press or falling edge events.
