Use the Navigation key to highlight a Memo.
To view the highlighted Memo:

Press the View (left) soft key ( ). A numbered Memo screen appears in
the display showing the highlighted Memo’s text.

Press the OK (left) soft key ( ) to return to the Memo Pad screen.
To edit the highlighted Memo:

Press the Options (right) soft key ( ), highlight the Edit option, then
press the OK (left) soft key ( ). A numbered Memo screen appears in
the display showing the highlighted Memo’s text with a cursor at the end of
the text.

Enter memo text using the keypad. (See “Entering Text” on page 41 for
more information.)

When you have completed entering the memo text, press the OK (left) soft
key ( ). “ Memo saved ” pops-up follow by the Memo Pad screen
appearing in the display with your new Memo listed.
To erase the highlighted Memo:

Press the Options (right) soft key ( ), highlight the Erase option, then
press the OK (left) soft key ( ). You are prompted to confirm erasure of
the highlighted Memo.
• Press the Yes (left) soft key ( ) to erase the highlighted Memo.
• Press the No (right) soft key ( ) to retain the highlighted Memo.
You are returned to the Memo Pad screen.
To lock a Memo:
Note: Locking a Memo prevents it from being erased until you first unlock the Memo.

Press the Options (right) soft key ( ), highlight the Lock option, then
press the OK (left) soft key ( ). “ Memo saved ” pops-up follow by the
Memo Pad screen showing a lock icon ( ) to the right of the highlighted
Memo.
Tip: To unlock a locked Memo, repeat this Step, substituting the Unlock option for the Lock option.
