Phone Settings
• Allow All — Unrestricted making of Outgoing calls and/or receiving Incoming
calls.
• Allow None — Restricts phone from making Outgoing calls and/or from
receiving Incoming calls.
• Allow Contatcts — Restricts phone to making Outgoing calls only to Contacts
and/or restricts phone from receiving Incoming calls except from Contacts.

Use the Navigation key to highlight the desired restriction type, then press
the OK (left) soft key ( ) to save your restriction setting.
NAM Selection
If your service contract includes two phone numbers, NAM Selection lets you select
Number Assignment Module (NAM) settings to use one or both numbers. Otherwise,
use the
NAM1 setting.

In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press
(for Settings ), (for Phone Settings ), and for NAM Selection .
The following sub-menus appear in the display:
• NAM1 — Use one number.
• NAM2 — Use both numbers. (Only works if your service contract includes two
phone numbers.)

Use the Navigation key to highlight the desired NAM option, then press the
OK (left) soft key ( ) to save your NAM selection.
System Select
The Network settings let you select Roaming options.

In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press
(for Settings ), (for Phone Settings ), and for System Select .
The following options appear in the display:
• Home only — Your phone is available for normal operation only within your
designated coverage area.
• Automatic-A — The Preferred Roaming List (PRL) is used to acquire service. If
no preferred systems are found, any digital “A” system is acquired.
• Automatic-B — The PRL is used to acquire service. If no preferred systems
are found, any digital “B” system is acquired.

Use the Navigation key to highlight the desired roaming option, then press
the OK (left) soft key ( ) to save your roaming selection.
Set Time
Use the Set Time sub-menu to set the date and time that appear in the display.
