Adding a New Contacts Entry
•
Use the Navigation key to highlight ringtone you wish to assign to this new
Contact, then press the
OK
key (
). You are prompted to confirm the
ringtone assignment.
•
Press the
Yes
(left) soft key (
) to confirm the assignment. The
New
Contact
screen reappears in the display with the selected Ringtone name
populating the
Ringtone
field.
Press the
No
(right) soft key (
) to ignore the assignment. The
Preloaded
screen reappears in the display.
•
You can use the Navigation key to highlight another ringtone, or you can press
to return to the
New Contact
screen without assigning a ringtone.

If you want, you can assign an identifying image to the new Contact by
using the Navigation key to highlight the unlabeled Contact ID field at the
top of the
New Contact
screen:
•
Press the
Set
(right) soft key (
). The
Select
screen appears in the display
showing the following sub-menus:

Image Gallery
— Lists downloaded images (for more information, see
“Axcess Shop”
on page 77).
–
Avatar Gallery
— Lists preloaded “avatar” images.
•
Use the Navigation key to highlight the preferred sub-menu, then press the
OK
key (
). A list of available images appears in the display.
•
Use the Navigation key to highlight the desired image, then press the
OK
key
(
). You are prompted to confirm the image assignment.
•
Press the
Yes
(left) soft key (
) to confirm the assignment. The
New
Contact
screen reappears in the display with the selected image populating the
Contact ID field.
Press the
No
(right) soft key (
) to ignore the assignment. The selected
image list screen reappears in the display.
•
You can use the Navigation key to highlight another image, or you can press
to return to the
New Contact
screen without assigning a Contact ID.

Press the
Save
key (
) to save the new Contacts entry.
Adding Pauses to Contacts Numbers
When you call automated systems (like banking services), you are often required to
enter a password or account number. Instead of manually entering the numbers
each time, you can store the numbers in your Contacts along with special characters
called pauses.
•
P pause
— A hard pause stops the calling sequence until further input from you.
•
T pause
— A two-second pause stops the calling sequence for two seconds and
then automatically sends the remaining digits.
