Add Contacts
screen appears in
the display showing a list of all Contacts currently assigned to the
General
group.

Use the Navigation key to highlight a Contact you want to add to the
selected Group.

Press the
Options
(right) soft key (
). The following options pop-up in
the display:
• Mark
• Mark All
6.
Use the Navigation key to highlight the
Mark
option and press the
Done
(left) soft key (
).A checkmark appears to the left of the highlighted
Contact.
7.
Repeat Steps 4 – 6 as neeeded.
8.
Press the
Done
(left) soft key (
). “
Contacts added to the Group
”
appears in the display followed by the Group list showing the newly
assigned Contacts.
9.
Press the
key to return to the
Group
screen.
Deleting a Contact Entry
1.
In standby mode, press the
Up
navigation key (Contacts
Find
shortcut).
The
Find
screen appears in the display with the
Go To
field highlighted.
2.
Enter first few characters of the Contact’s name and/or use the Navigation
key to highlight the Contact that you wish to erase.
3.
Press the
Option
(left) soft key (
). A pop-up menu containing the
following options appears in the display:
• New Contact
— Lets you add a new number to your Contacts list or to the
selected contact.
• Erase
— Erases the selected contact.
• Send Text Msg
— Lets you send a text message to the selected contact.
• Edit
— Lets you edit details of the highlighted contact.
• Call
— Lets you place a call to the selected contact.
4.
Use the Navigation key to highlight the
Erase
option, then press the
OK
(left) soft key (
). You are prompted to confirm the erasure.
5.
Press the
Yes
(left) soft key (
) to erase the highlighted Contact.
Press the
No
(right) soft key (
) to retain the highlighted Contact.
