If the first item in the Bluetooth menu is
Bluetooth:On

Bluetooth is already activated.
Discoverable
The Discoverable option allows your phone to wirelessly transmit
its phone name and status, when activated. This can be useful if
you are attempting to connect additional Bluetooth devices.
Allowing your phone to promote its visibility can pose a security
risk and incite unauthorized connection. This feature should be
paired with a Bluetooth security option.

In Idle mode, press
Menu

Settings
➔
Connectivity
➔
Bluetooth
and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
2.
If the second item in the Bluetooth menu is
Discoverable :
Off
, then highlight the
Discoverable : Off
option and press
the
Select
soft key or the
key.
3.
The
Visibility enabled
confirmation prompt displays on your
phone.
4.
If the second item in the Bluetooth menu is
Discoverable:On
, then Bluetooth is already discoverable.
My Devices
The My Devices option provides a list of Bluetooth wireless
technology devices discovered by your handset.
1.
In Idle mode, press
Menu
➔
Settings
➔
Connectivity
➔
Bluetooth
➔
My Devices
and press the
Select
soft key or
the
key.
2.
Highlight
Search for New Device
and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.

Highlight a device and press the
Select
soft key or the
key.
3.
Enter the passkey (if applicable).
If connecting to a Bluetooth wireless device, consult your
Bluetooth device user manual for your assigned PIN.
If connecting to another handset, enter the same
user-defined PIN on both handsets.
4.
Highlight the
Connection Options
field and use the
Left
or
Right
Navigation key to select
Automatic
(pairs
automatically), or
Always Ask
(asks before pairing) and
press the
Pair
soft key.
Note:
The first time you try to pair with a handset, you and the owner of the
other handset must enter the same Passkey. Once the handsets are
paired, you do not need to use the Passkey again.
