12.3 Starting, Pausing and Run Completion
1.
Make sure the properly prepared cassettes are on the optical nests and samples have
been loaded.
2.
Close the instrument lid.
3.
Make sure the correct size selection protocol has been loaded. The protocol name
will appear in the “Protocol Name” field in the Run Status screen. The protocol that is
currently loaded in the Protocol Editor screen will be loaded.
4.
The different protocol can be loaded by clicking on the “Protocol Name” field and
selecting a previously save protocol from the menu.
5.
To begin a run, Press the START in the control panel.
6.
A pop-up window will appear to remind users that the LED calibration and continuity
tests were not inadvertently skipped. Press “OK” to start the run.
