4. Click the Cassette folder icon. A pop-up screen will appear that lists the available
cassette type definitions. Highlight the cassette definition that is appropriate for the
cassette kit that is used
(for example: “2% Agarose, 100-600bp, 20B”). Press Select
to load the definition.

Size selection parameters may not be entered until a Cassette Type Definition has
been selected.

ote:
A run time value is displayed. This value is set by the cassette definition, and represents a
maximum run time allowed in the event of a malfunction. This does not have a bearing on the
actual run time, which ends when the final elution is complete. Users should not change this
value or uncheck the box in most run scenarios.
