5. Enter the size selection parameters for lane pair 1-2. Examples are provided below:

Tight
– collects minimum allowable distribution range of DNA fragments using the
median target base pair value.
•
Range
– allows users to select a wider range to be collected using starting and
ending base pair values.
Note:
Range mode is used for programming High-Pass protocols.
•
Time
– allows users to program extractions using the starting and ending elution
time (hh:mm:ss) values only (
a reference DNA marker is not used
)
6. Enter Sample ID Template information (optional). These will be saved with the protocol
and prefix to Sample ID information imported (also optionally) into the Main screen when
initiating a run.
