12.2.2 Sample ID entry
Sample ID information may be entered in the Sample ID field for both cassettes that
are run on the PippinHT. Information may be entered in any of these ways:
•
Keyed in manually
– use the Tab key
scroll down fields and Shift-Tab to
scroll up fields.
•
Scanned in with a barcode wand
–
a bar code wand may be use with the
USB port on the front or back of the
PippinHT to scan bar coded sample IDs
from a traveler or sample sheet.
•
Imported via .txt file from a USB port

12.2.3 Importing Sample IDs
1.
Save up to 12 sample ID names into a text (.txt) file as shown below.
2.
Place the file onto a USB drive and insert the drive into any USB port on the
PippinHT.
