5.9.1.8 Delete a Route
1. Select the route to be deleted in the route list.
2. Press the butto
n ―Route‖ followed by ―Delete‖.

A confirmation popup will appear, press ―Yes‖ to delete the route. This will
only delete the selected route; the associated waypoints will still be available.
5.9.1.9 Delete All Routes

Press the button ―Route‖ followed by ―Delete All‖.

A confirmation popup will appear, press ―Yes‖ to delete all the routes in the
system. This will only delete the routes; the associated waypoints will still be
available.
5.9.2 Waypoint List
Waypoints are the basis for ship navigation. A waypoint is a position on the earth
surface that is given a unique name and stored in the memory of the R5 SUPREME
CDU. Waypoints can be entered in several different ways, and used for building routes
as well as for direct navigation to a specific position.
The Waypoint List view lists all the waypoints that are currently stored in the R5
Navigation System. Via this view it is also possible to create new waypoints and store
them in the memory.

5.9.2.1 Sail To Waypoint
1. Select the desired destination waypoint in the list.
2. Press the button
―Sail to WPT‖. The
Sail To view will be shown:

―Sail‖ to start sailing towards the selected waypoint.
