Run Lock

configuration and operational notes.

Connect the Universal Controller (CVS-012) as shown in section K4 using standard 21watt automotive bulbs toggle switches. Please
note these items are not supplied with the unit. Then also connect the chosen handset, via the extension lead as this ensures the
correct signal orientation, to the Universal Controller (CVS-012). Note, these connections can be made in addition to those already
made in sections K2 and K3.
Ensure that the positive supply connected to pins A and B on the main power feed connector is suitably fused. For testing purposes
5 amps will be sufficient.

Warning!

Be sure to muffle the 100watt siren speaker output before sounding to protect hearing.

Run Lock Activation

By operating the ‘Run Lock’ switch (note this has a momentary function) on the handset, Light Head 6 will then illuminate. This indi-
cates that Pin 10 on Bank B is active which can be confirmed by noticing the LED adjacent to it is illuminated.
Operating SWT5 (Run Lock Handbrake), SWT6 (Run Lock Reset), SWT7 (Run Lock High Start) and SWT8 (Run Lock Low Start) enables
various operating functions of the Run Lock management software to be mimicked.
As there are various ways of configuring the ‘Run Lock’ feature of the product please refer to the relevant ‘Installation Guide’ section
for full details of this.
