Section 4. 2240S Installation

4.3 MECHANICAL

INSTALLATION

4.3.1

Mounting on top of a Temperature Sensor/WLS

1. Remove the plug.
2. Unscrew the four screws and remove

the cover.

3. Remove the plug that protects the cable

entry at the bottom of the 2240S
transmitter housing.

4. Attach the 2240S transmitter on top of

the temperature sensor tube.

5. Remove the cover and run the sensor

wires into the terminal compartment.

6. Tighten the nut on the 2240S

transmitter by hand.

7. Proceed with electrical installation of

temperature elements and water level
sensor.
