Section 3.4: Infrared Safety Beam

The infrared emitter installed near the bottom of the door produces a constant, invisible beam that is ordinarily intercepted by

the receiver. If this beam is interrupted (

e.g.

by a person or a forklift) while the door is closing, the door will stop and reverse to the

fully open position.
