Section 3.1: Activating Door
The door can be opened and closed using the Smart Switch or the Smart Controller.
1. Press and release the Open or Close button on either the Smart Switch or the Smart Controller to open or close the door,
respectively.
2. When the LED behind either the Open button or the Close button is illuminated, only that function can be performed. The
function that is not illuminated cannot be performed. For example, if the Open button LED is on and the Close button LED is
off, the door can be opened but it cannot be closed.
NOTICE:
If an error prevents the door from functioning, press and hold the button to engage a constant-pressure override.
NOTICE:
Open Input Function (program parameter P20; see Section 3.8.1) controls the sequence that occurs once the open
activation signal is sent. The recommended value varies based on the application.
NOTICE:
If program parameter P21 (see Section 3.8.1) has been changed from momentary input (0; default) to maintained input
(1), press and hold the appropriate button until the desired action is complete.
