Cause

Remedy

Operating voltage was below 20 VDC.

Check power supply.

Sensor voltage too low.

Check external power supply

(insufficient power ?).

Faults Sensor Switch Box

Cause

Remedy

Error in the Sensor Switch Box.

If a Sensor Switch Box is connected, check box and

cables.

Otherwise read the notes in chapter 9.1.

9.10 Faults concerning PLC parallel inputs

Cause

Remedy

Operation of PLC inputs is incorrect.

Check timing of PLC inputs.

The parallel function is not possible, because

another parallel function is active (e.g. measurement

start and in addition Teach-In 1-sheet).

See timing diagrams.

Selected program number >255.

Select the new program number.

Parallel function is blocked in the system

configuration (ext. adjust: no).

If required, change configuration.

The parallel function is not possible, because the

system was configured to “internal control”.

In case of “internal control” it is only possible to select the

measuring program. If required, change configuration to

“external control”.

The parallel function is not possible, because the

menu is open.

Close the menu.
