3. Basic Operations

If not covered by the dummy

The head gap is set according to the media thickness, so the head gap becomes too great in areas not

covered by the dummy. This may cause the UV light to reflect off the print head, causing the ink on the

head to cure and can lead to failure. If the gap is wide, the airflow may be disturbed, resulting in poor

printing.
