as a STAT test (if this function is enabled and if
there are still STAT tests available). In these cases
a QC status screen will be displayed after touching
Patient Test .

5 With patient list go to step 7.
Without patient list, touch Patient Test .
6 If the Patient ID option was chosen as either
Optional or Required when the meter was set up,
you are prompted to enter a Patient ID .

• If Required , enter the Patient ID , then touch
to move to the next screen.
• If Optional , ignore the prompt and touch to
move to the next screen. The meter will assign
the test a consecutive number.
• If neither option was chosen, a screen appears
that prompts you to insert a test strip.
• Continue with step 11 or 12, depending on the
meter setup.
7 With patient list, touch Patient Test .
