Clean the Thermal Print Head every other time when a new Screen Ma s ter Roll i s s et.
When d us t adhere s to the Thermal Print Head, the s creen may not be correctly perfo-
rated according to the original data and graphic s or text may be mi ss ing or bl u r.

Do not directly to u ch the thermal print head with yo u r finger s . The thermal print
head may be heated and ca us e b u rn s .

Hold the Screen Making Unit Cover Handle and
open the cover.

Hold the Screen Making Unit Open Lever tightly
and open the Screen Making Unit.
Cleaning
The q u ality of imaged s creen may su ffer if the Thermal Print Head of the Screen Mak-
ing Unit i s contaminated with d us t or dirt. Follow the s tep s below for periodic cleaning.
Thermal Print Head
• Since the Thermal Print Head is very delicate, avoid shocks or scratches
with a hard object.
• The Thermal Print Head may be damaged by static electricity.
Be sure to remove the static electricity charged in the body before clean-
ing the Thermal Print Head.
Do not touch the Thermal Print Head for other than cleaning it.
