Precautions for Connecting with the
Power Supply

To prevent loo s e connection of the power
pl u g, s ec u rely connect the pl u g to the o u tlet.

In s tall the machine near the o u tlet.
●
Thi s machine i s eq u ipped which the "A u to Power off"
f u nction with a u tomatically t u rn s off the POWER of the
machine when it ha s not been us ed for a certain
period with the POWER t u rned on.

Do not to u ch the Voltage Changeover Switch located
on the left of the Power Connector (AC inlet). If intend-
ing to change the power
su pply, contact yo u r dealer.
Erroneo us ly changing the voltage may ca us e fail u re.

If the Voltage Changeover Switch i s in the 100 V to
120 V po s ition when us ing the machine, us e cable
with s pecification of 125 V/8 A or more.

If the Voltage Changeover Switch i s in the 220 V to
240 V po s ition when us ing the machine, us e a cable
with s pecification s of 250 V/5 A or more.
The Printer Driver
Thi s printer driver i s de s igned for s creen making by tran s -
mitting original data from yo u r comp u ter.
The printer driver i s contained in the incl u ded CD-ROM.
When making a s creen ma s ter for the fir s t time, it i s nec-
e ss ary to in s tall the printer driver.

Precautions on the Connection with a
Computer

Before us ing the machine, be su re to in s tall the printer
driver from the incl u ded CD-ROM.

Thi s machine m us t be connected with a comp u ter via
a commercially available USB cable (10 feet / 3 m or
le ss , compliant with Hi-Speed USB). For detail s , s ee
"USB cable Connection" on page 22.
Precautions on Connection
Do not connect the machine with the com-
puter before installing the printer driver.
If the optional network interface card "RISO Network
Card" i s in s talled, the machine can be connected
with a Macinto s h comp u ter. For detail s , s ee the
