Recorded data are also written sequentially to a fi le during the recording
process, but at the point where recording stops, there will be a certain
amount of data that still need to be written. In addition, fi le management
information to allow later retrieval of the fi le also needs to be created.
The “File is being written” message refers to this process of writing re-
maining data and fi le management information. The following message
appears on the display during the process (see page 125).
